Project Overview

CAPSA - Capacity Strengthening of Governments to address child labor and /or forced labor, and violations of acceptable work in Sub-Saharan Africa

The International Labour Organisation (ILO) engaged the ADRES group to develop the Strengthening Capacity of Governments to Adress Child Labour and/or Forced Labour, and Violations of Acceptable Conditions of Work in Sub-Saharan Africa (CAPSA) project documentary, which has been implemented in Kenya and Uganda since 2020.

ADRES group was expected to:

  1. Develop comprehensive story plans and decks outlining the narrative structure, visual concepts, and key messaging for the documentary.
  2. Conduct interviews and shoot project activities in Kenya and Uganda and capture the beneficiaries' stories and the human impact of the CAPSA activities.
  3. Develop both edited short videos for social media and long-version documentaries addressing each of the three key project outcomes:
  • Outcome 1: Improved enforcement of legal frameworks and policies.
  • Outcome 2: Improved assistance services for victims.
  • Outcome 3: Strengthened partnerships to accelerate progress.
