The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) is an eight-country trade bloc in Africa. It includes governments from the Horn of Africa, Nile Valley and the African Great Lakes. Its headquarters are in Djibouti City. ADRES Group has worked with IGAD to establish a knowledge portal for collaboration in cross-border areas of the IGAD region (Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda) especially the SECCCI cluster locations.

The Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA)
COMESA, with its secretariat based in Lusaka, Zambia, is the largest REC in Africa comprising of 19 Member States, and having eleven specialised institutions including Federation of National Associations of Women in Business in Eastern and Southern Africa (FEMCOM) whose focus is support for women in business. ADRES Group has supported COMESA in developing branding guideline and a regional communications strategy for the 50 Million Africa Women Speak Project (50MAWSP). The 50 Million African Women Speak Project (50MAWSP) is contributing to the economic and social empowerment of women across 38 African countries through the provision of a networking platform to access information on financial and non-financial services. Funded by the African Development Bank (AfDB), the project targets 50 Million women in business and is implemented by the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), the East African Community (EAC) and the Economic Community for Western African States (ECOWAS). ADRES Group has also supported COMESA in communications and documentation for the Enhancement of a Sustainable Regional Energy Market in Eastern Africa, Southern Africa and Indian Ocean Region(ESREM) project. ESREM is a European Union funded Programme implemented by the Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa (COMESA), Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), the East African Community (EAC), the Indian Ocean Commission (IOC) and the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD).

The Commonwealth
The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 53 independent and equal sovereign states. The Commonwealth is home to 2.4 billion people and includes both advanced economies and developing countries. Thirty-one of our members are small states, many of which are island nations. ADRES Group has supported the commonwealth together with the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) in research, communications and documentation during the workshop on promotion of sustainable peace through National youth policies in the framework of 2030 Agenda held at the the United Nations in Nairobi.
